Ann Ellis

Native of Chattanooga, Tennessee. Graduated from American University, B.A. Performing Arts, Washington, DC. Acted in numerous plays in Chattanooga, TN, Washington, DC and New York City. Studied acting with Stella Adler at the Stella Adler Conservatory of Acting, New York City. Longtime practitioner of tai chi chuan. Performed at The Ohio Theatre, NYC, 78th Street Theatre Lab. Studied with Andre Hules at La Mama Experimental Theatre Company. Did a workshop with company members of Peter Brook's theatre. Took workshop with Kristin Linklater and members of The Wooster Group, Ron Vawter and Leeny Sack. Was an extra in "Jane Austen in Manhattan" directed by James Ivory.
