Date of birth : 09/01/1975
City of birth : St. Louis, Missouri, USA

Gary C. Warren began his career as an actor while attending St. Louis University. After working in the St. Louis area for four years performing in everything from the Robin Hood Show at Six Flags to the St. Louis Science Center's Educational tour of grade schools, he moved to Los Angeles to continue pursuing his acting goals. While in Los Angeles, Gary studied at Second City and Acme Comedy while going out for audition after audition after audition. After being cast as Frat Boy #1 and Surfer #3 numerous times, he decided to begin writing and directing his own short films in order to showcase his acting. This led to him working on the production side at MTV on Date My Mom and Next, two quality programs. After his father was diagnosed with prostate cancer, Warren moved back to the St. Louis area to be with him. After a period of feeling sorry for himself, Warren decided that it didn't matter where he lived, he could still make feature films. After checking himself into a clinic for medical testing, he made enough money to finance his feature directorial debut, "The Path of Torment." It was a horror/dark comedy which centered on two killers who disguise themselves at Mormons in order to torture a couple. It had its world premiere at the Action on Film Festival in Pasadena and was named one of 2009's Top Ten Horror Films by moviecynics. Gary set out to turn his dark comedy world view on romantic comedies and wrote "Best Laid Schemes". While working his day job as a writer/producer/editor for a St. Louis television station, Gary would produce, star, direct and edit the film on nights and weekends, except for when he would again check himself into medical studies for funding. "Best Laid Schemes" had it's World Premiere Bare Bones International Film Festival and played festivals around the world where it won numerous awards including Best Comedy Feature, Best Writer and Best Actor. Gary returned to Los Angeles and began writing/producing in reality television where he now works as an EP/Showrunner. He continues to write and direct indie projects.
