Jay B. Johnson works as a Cinematographer, camera operator and Gaffer based in Cleveland. He is also Cinematography instructor at a local college. As an independent filmmaker, he wrote, produced, directed & edited the feature "Will Work For Food" (2006). The film was screened at the Cleveland International Film Festival, New York Independent Video and Film Festival and won Best Feature at the Los Angeles DV Film Festival. It was also a feature article in DV Magazine, "Making Will Work For Food. How an $8000 film looked like a million dollars." Later, intrigued by a local news story, he produced and directed his controversial short film "The Handyman" (2010), based on convicted Cleveland serial Killer Anthony Sowell. He has also works as a videographer and camera operator for network TV, documentaries, corporate videos and music videos. Jay has a BFA in Film and Art from Ohio University. His production company is Faze Films.
