Carrie Ann Quinn is a professional actor with over 20 years of experience in stage, television, and film. With a MFA in Theatre - Acting from Boston University, and a BFA in Acting from NYU's Tisch School of the Arts, she is Associate Professor of Acting and Directing at UMass Boston. Carrie Ann is a founding member of Escape Artists, an international theatre company which produced the world premiere of Possessions in Sydney, Australia, a play she co-wrote and starred in. Carrie Ann has performed in New York and regional theaters such as Clurman Theatre (Off Broadway), CSV Flamboyan Theater, Lee Strasberg Theatre, American Repertory Theater, Gloucester Stage Company, Boston Playwrights' Theatre, The Warehouse Theatre, Huntington Studio 210 Theatre, Theatre Unlimited, Whitmore/Lindley Theatre. She has been seen in television series, feature films and short films in supporting leads, guest star and co-star roles in Los Angeles, NY and Boston and recently began producing and directing independent films. A nationally award-winning acting teacher (Kennedy Center), Carrie Ann travels and teaches master acting classes throughout the U.S., Australia and Europe (A Method for a New Millennium). A member of SDC, she directs new plays, musicals and devised theatre. Member of AEA and SAG-AFTRA.
