Brent was born and raised in Myrtle Beach, SC and later attended Clemson University to obtain a Finance degree. When Brent didn't have a soccer ball at his feet, he was doing some type of acting, whether it be in a recognized play or simply setting up his parents video camera. His first official role was at age 8 in a play called "The Class Clown". He is best known for his role of Logan Jones in the nationally televised teen drama, Palmetto Pointe. After graduating Clemson, Brent decided to pursue acting full time. Instead of moving to LA or NYC, he started his own production company with Tim Woodward, Jr. so that they would be guaranteed work. After a few productions of his own, Brent began getting outside interest, thus branching out and acting in projects that were not his own productions. He eventually moved to New York in 2006 and began booking commercial projects with IBM, Doritos, Amgen, PC Richards, and more. In 2010, he launched The Digital Dailies with Bill Grandberg and Max Malouf, a platform that produces, hosts, and distributes episodic content of 60 seconds or less. Together, they produced over 100 episodes across a variety of genres. In 2013, he relaunched and re-branded his own media and production company called Break Big Entertainment and has since partnered with major companies like Google, Pfizer, Facebook, Amazon, Nike, among many others. Brent's parents are Ansel and Julie Lovell and still reside in Myrtle Beach, SC. His younger brother Ryan also lives in Myrtle Beach. On November 8, 2014, he married Alison Smith. The couple have two children and reside in Murrells Inlet, SC.
