Si Dunn

Si Dunn is a screenwriter living in Austin, Texas. He was born in Hattiesburg, Miss., and grew up in Little Rock, Ark. He attended Little Rock Central High School and witnessed some of the turbulent desegregation events that put that school into the world news and history books in the late 1950s and early 1960s. He attended several colleges and universities and earned a BA in journalism from North Texas State University (now the University of North Texas). He worked for several newspapers as a photojournalist, including the Dallas Morning News, Houston Chronicle and Denton Record-Chronicle. He is a Navy veteran of the Vietnam War and has written several books, including a war memoir, "Dark Signals."
