David Tankersley

David Tankersley is a native Memphian. His career has spanned the areas of corporate writing, publishing, journalism, art, advertising and adult education before beginning acting in independent films in 1997. His first role in Friction was completed to provide information for an article he was doing about independent film in Memphis. He fell in love with film acting during that process. His characteristic southern voice has been a trademark. He and writing partner William Bearden completed their first feature film, One Came Home, in 2010.
