A multifaceted director who hails from Jamaica and has created over 400 hours of content in her career. Tanya made her transition to television after a three-year tenure in Advertising, in which she served as a Creative Director for various campaigns for KFC, Pizza Hut, and many others. That experience inspired her to get behind the camera and embark on directing commercials and long form content. In 2002, Tanya founded Anyhoo Productions, a boutique company that specialized in creating branded content from concept to completion. During her time overseeing Anyhoo, she co-created, produced and directed several television series. Included in her show running and directing experience is a 26episode season of the international game show (Digicel's) Deal or No Deal. Tanya's devotion to diverse programming is evident in the scripted and unscripted content she creates. In 2015 she relocated to New York to explore new challenges and share her afro-Indian Jamaican voice with a more global audience. Her current development slate includes the LGBTQIA themed docu-fiction feature Jamaican Pride, the female helmed drama procedural Island Fixer, the cultural psychological thriller feature Kumina and the comedy sketch series How to be Jamaican.
