Louise Brix Andersen is a multilingual writer and film director with a flair for deep and complex stories. She started her film studies at the European Film College in Denmark, where she received a scholarship from Nordisk Film for being "Most Promising Student". After her studies she worked as an assistant editor on feature films and television programs, and she directed her first independent short film. In New York, Louise continued her film studies at the NYU - School of Professional Studies, where she also directed and worked on several short films. In Barcelona, she made a post degree in film directing at the Fundación CPA Salduie. Throughout her career, Louise has written, directed and edited numerous short films, spots, commercials, music videos and documentaries. As an advocate for women's rights, Louise is an active member of several international and local female-promoting organizations working towards gender balance in the film industry. She is also co-founder and host of the group The Leading Ladies where she organizes monthly meetings for the group's female members. Louise is the creator and host of the interview-series Changing The Narrative and is a published author with her book Remote Filmmaking.
