Paul Karpenko has been making films since High School. He co-ran the campus filmmaking club (Illini Film and Video) while an undergraduate at the University of Illinois, Urbana-Champaign and continued to make movies in Chicago post-graduation. In 2012 he completed the short, White Elephant, with the help of friends and a budget of about $700. After moving to Los Angeles the same year he co-wrote and directed Re-Election, an original series financed with $26K raised through a Kickstarter campaign that he orchestrated and ran with a good amount of help from his partner. He is currently a filmmaker and software engineer living and working in Hollywood.
