Sarah is a freelance writer and editor, with a background in property and broadcasting. In the summer of 2003, Sarah was chosen to be the property stylist for 10 one-hour specials of the BBC's already successful 'To Buy Or Not To Buy'. She was then invited to co-present the second series and remained as one of the main presenters until 2007. Sarah has also presented 'Trading Up' for the BBC and 'The Property Market' for the Overseas Property Channel, and featured a number of times on BBC Breakfast and Radio Five Live as a property expert. She has undertaken corporate filming - directing, editing and presenting - and is skilled in voice-over work. As a speaker, theatre host and expert panelist, Sarah has appeared at property shows and exhibitions around the UK, including BBC Good Homes, Invest in Property, The Home & Garden Show and Landlord & Buy to Let Show. Sarah graduated from Aberdeen University in 1996 with a Master's degree in English, and then spent 8 months in Southern Italy, teaching in a private school and learning the language. She loves exploring and photographing her home country of Scotland (with her trusty whippet in tow) and is active in her local amateur dramatic society, winning 'Best Actress' in East Kilbride RepFest 2019. Skiing is Sarah's sporting passion and she also enjoys horse riding, watching and playing tennis and trying to improve her golf handicap.
