Anthony Hudson was born in 1971 in Bendigo, Victoria, Australia. He began his media career on Bendigo community radio station 3CCC. In 1989, he graduated high school and moved to Melbourne where he studied Journalism at RMIT University as well as working behind the scenes of radio station 3AW. In 1993, he graduated from university with a Bachelor of Arts degree. Anthony then enjoyed a brief stint at Channel 10 as a sports reporter. In 1995, he returned to 3AW and began working as a football commentator alongside Rex Hunt. He was then recruited by Channel 7 to form part of their football commentary team. He also worked as part of the commentary team for the 2000 Sydney Olympic Games. In 2002, he returned to Channel 10 as a football commentator and now heads the station's Saturday afternoon football coverage. He can also be seen regularly on Fox Footy as well as on football program "Before The Game". He currently lives in Melbourne with his wife (they have no children).
