Rene Aguirre

As VP of original content for Fuse Media, Rene Aguirre played an integral role in the development and production of original series for the independently owned multi platform media company and it's Fuse, FM and digital properties. This included a slate that features nine new series along with returning programming, Fluffy's Food Adventures and Big Freedia Bounces Back. Prior to its relaunch as Fuse Media, Aguirre served as the VP of programming and served as a Senior Producer for SíTV Media Inc., which included the NUVOtv network. Aguirre has also produced, written and directed branded, interstitial promos, along with online video that highlighted and promoted the network's content and talent. He has also produced original short form content and developed production plans based on the network's budget, objectives and audience. Previous to joining SíTV Media, Aguirre served as a producer for Time Warner Cable. In this role, he produced and directed cable commercials and in-house and business-to-business reels.
