Born into an artistic, creative family, Pippa's life as an artist began early. At age 5, Pippa performed in her first production and was hooked. She actively pursued performance and learning opportunities. Throughout her education, she passionately studied voice, piano, dance, literature, and drama. Seizing every opportunity to perform, Pippa found herself in theatrical productions including classical theatre, musicals, avant-garde dramatic presentations, modernist comedies, and everything in between. After spending a great deal of time in various training programs, local professional performances, and regional touring, Pippa finally moved to New York City in 2002 where she was well received. She loved NYC, and was fortunate to be cast quickly in Off-Broadway productions at Theatre Studio and The Ensemble Studio Theatre. As "Crisis Hotline," an Off-Broadway World Premiere, came to a close, the opportunity to move to Los Angeles presented itself. Pippa decided to embrace the opportunity, and in January 2004, she moved out West. In LA, Pippa hit the ground running. A couple of months after moving, she was cast in a new play, "Crash Pad," directed by Joseph Marcell. A few months later, she was cast as Cathy Pulley on the network Sitcom, "Half & Half." In 2007, Pippa decided to fulfill a lifetime dream and spent more than 3 months on a solo backpacking adventure across Europe. The experience was life altering, and the perspective gained spurred intense creative and artistic growth. Upon her return, she returned to school and graduated with a degree in Creative Writing in 2010. After graduation, she set off on a slow travel adventure that led her nearly 20,000 miles through North America. During months on the road, she experienced the spectrum of human experiences and emotions. The adventure included many life-altering experiences. Pippa danced with the Hopi, trekked glaciers, climbed mountains, and was both lost and found somewhere in the Mojave. In April 2012, she began work on collaborative avant-garde performance pieces and film projects with several fellow artists in NYC that span numerous genres and disciplines. Plans are in place for performances and screenings in both NYC and Los Angeles, as well as digital distribution via YouTube and Vimeo. In the Spring and Summer of 2014, she continued film and performance art collaboration, with 2 film projects going into production in the Summer of 2014. She continued writing several books, including one that chronicled her travels across North America, and was nearly finished the serial dramedy she conceived while on the road. At the end of 2014, she plans to return to Los Angeles to expand both performance and directing/producing pursuits.
