Michael Dimmitt

Michael Dimmitt started working as a video editor in 2004 after obtaining Certificates in Production and Post Production from NYU. He has edited two feature narratives, Cayman Went (starring Jeff DeMunn) and Greenpoint Tavern. He has worked on many documentaries, shooting, editing, directing, and producing, including Until The Light Takes Us, The Color of Noise, Something in the Water (in post production), Gun Trucks of Vietnam, Silly Pink Bunnies (in production), and A Wandering Path (in post production). He specializes in shooting and editing live music events and has done this extensively with Revolver Magazine and Underground Audio. He has also worked on a few shows for A&E and History Channel. He resides in Brooklyn, New York, and is an active musician and a lover of documentaries and film.
