Ray Sefo is a semi-retired New Zealand kickboxer, boxer, mixed martial artist, fight promoter and former actor. He was born of Samoan descent on February 15, 1971 in Auckland, New Zealand. He is a six-time Muay Thai World Champion and eight time K-1 World Grand Prix Finals tournament participant. Sefo is the president of the MMA promotion World Series of Fighting. He made a brief run in acting, beginning in 1995 in an episode of Hercules: The Legendary Journeys (1995). Nine years later, he made a cameo with fellow mixed martial artist Gary Goodridge in the Japanese cult movie favorite Godzilla: Final Wars (2004) (Godzilla: Final Wars) as a pair of comical watchmen assigned guard duty over an imprisoned Godzilla...before ordered to awaken and release the iconic movie monster to save the world from aliens. Four years after that, Sefo appeared in the action/crime/thriller Bad Guys (2008). Four years after that, he made his professional wrestling debut at Inoki Bom-Ba-Ye 2012 (2012) where he and his tag team partner Hiromi Amada were defeated by Atsushi Sawada & Hideki Suzuki. Since retiring from mixed arts competitions in 2015, he moved to Las Vegas, Nevada, where he continues to train out of Xtreme Couture Mixed Martial Arts.
