Biography

Legendary Actor-Director, Robert J. Locke, Jr., directed the first Olympic Wrestling documentary in history, "Journey Into Freestyle Wrestling", which premiered at the AFM in 2004. At the time, there was only one other movie about wrestling: "Vision Quest". To date, there are now 30+ films dedicated to wrestling. Robert currently has two movies on Amazon Prime that he stars in: "Legend of Bloody Mary" (2008) (distributed by Lionsgate) and "Death Camp 1" (2022), the follow-up to "Legend of Bloody Mary", which Robert also directed (distributed by 123 Go Films). Robert starred as Father O'Neal in "Legend of Bloody Mary". Previously, Robert directed the dark comedy "The House of Yes" at the Nextstage theatre in Hollywood, and LA Weekly said of the play, "The acting was uniformly good under Robert Locke's deft direction."
