Angela R. Knight was born in Vancouver, Canada to an English father from London and Scottish mother from Ayr. Angela's interest in art and film inspired her to pursue fashion illustration at Blanche Macdonald Career College which led to modelling and acting - her film career starting in Vancouver's Hollywood North with 21 Jump Street (1987-1991). Continuing her education at Capilano University's Graphic Design and Illustration program, after graduation Angela's free spirit and globe-trotting ways stoked her passion to seek film work in the UK which led to a rare opportunity to audition for highly-acclaimed film director Mike Newell at Warner Bros Studios, Leavesden. Looking for a "double" for Miranda Richardson who was starring as "Rita Skeeter" in "Harry Potter and the Goblet of Fire", the positive audition resulted in Angela snagging the position of Ms. Richardson's photo double and stand-in for the film. A multitude of opportunities arose from that point to act as photo double and stand-in for various well-known actresses in both the UK and Canada. Adding to her long list of interests, Angela has been working on illustrating and writing children's books and is a member of the Society of Children's Book Writers and Illustrators. Whilst accepting selected film work, Angela continues to make contributions to animal welfare in support of her great love of animals. Angela tries to have a ethical approach to a no fur environment in regards to photo shoots etc.
