Robert Jobson

Robert Jobson is a leading royal commentator, author, broadcaster, journalist and actor. Dubbed the "Godfather of Royal Reporting" by the Wall Street Journal he regularly appears as an on-screen expert on live television news bulletins and in historical documentaries. He is royal contributor for US network NBC and royal editor for Australia's 7 network and top-rated show Sunrise. He is a regular on the BBC, Sky News and ITN in the UK. He is the author of several acclaimed books, including New York Times and Sunday Times No.1 bestseller "Diana: Closely Guarded Secret" written with the late Princess Diana's Personal Police Protection officer, Ken Wharfe MVO. He is the Royal Consultant to Mark Schwahn's originally scripted series "The Royals" for E! with Lionsgate. He also played himself, a royal correspondent, on screen in series 1 and 2 alongside actress Elizabeth Hurley, who plays the lead, Queen Helena.
