Kanani was watching professional theatre from backstage before she could talk and knew at a young age that she would somehow be involved in the family business. Kanani has appeared in the movie Paradise Dreams (2004) as well as the hit TV show Lost (2004) on ABC and the pilot for the series Hawaii (2004) on NBC and in a co-starring role on the CBS hit show Hawaii Five-0 (2010). She has also had many roles on stage. For example, she was a singer and dancer in "The Jim Nabors Christmas Show" for four years straight. Kanani has also done commercials, voice-overs, and industry-specific works for companies like Neiman Marcus, Hilton, and many others. Kanani studies Jazz, ballet, hula, and tap dancing in addition to voice.
