David Oskar Olafsson moved back and forth from Reykjavik to Copenhagen until the age of 15 when he moved back to Copenhagen where he stayed and finished high school. When he graduated he started his career in film making. He then went back to Iceland to work but decided to attend European Film Collage in Denmark for one year studying film production. When he graduated from film school he kept working in the movie industry. In 2006 he decided to start his own production company Mystery Island with two of his friends. He is now living in Reykjavik, Iceland producing various of short films,documentaries and full feature films.
