Raised in East Providence, Rhode Island. The son of blue collar parents. Richard is the devoted father of three children. Richard devotes his time to helping college students avoid the mistakes he made in his own youth. Richard co-founded "Students in Communications Television" with his close friend Mark Murphy. He and famed digital artist Webster Terhune co-created "Share The Knowledge", an ongoing video series in which college students teach their peers through the use of video tutorials. During his work on these projects he caught the acting bug and landed his first credited role in the cult horror film Feeding the Masses. Richard went on to create the first episodic Zombie television show, Zombie University. This series ran for over two years on local cable. Richard devotes most of his time helping college students get started in the film industry by writing and producing low budget films and employing local talent and crew.
