Louise Ashcroft was born in Liverpool (UK) and grew up on the Isle of Man. She is a British actress, singer and voice over artist. She studied contemporary performance at Bretton Hall College of Art, trained as an actress at Birmingham School of Speech and Drama and as a classical singer with London Trinty/Guildhall. Because of this drama and music background, she can be found playing women in various stages of graceful and disgraceful behaviour in theatre, music theatre, opera, TV, film and performance art. She's been showcased on BBC Radio 3, featured in Wired Magazine and The Huffington Post, applauded at various regional UK reps and concert halls, served her time on ITV's The Bill, and popped up at MoMA (New York) and the V&A Museum (London) wearing futuristic masks and hats. When not telling stories, you can find her pursuing a well frothed latte and watching an obscene amount of crime drama. And if you're not looking, you'll also find her knitting.
