Johnny Massaro is a Brazilian actor and director. Graduated in Film and Audiovisual, Massaro played several roles in theatre, cinema, and television, where he debuted in 2005. In his seventeen years of career, Johnny has been in movies like 'O Filme da Minha Vida', costarred with Vincent Cassel and directed by Selton Mello, 'Todas as razões para esquecer', by Pedro Coutinho, 'Os Primeiros Soldados', by Rodrigo de Oliveira, and 'O Pastor e o Guerrilheiro', by José Eduardo Belmonte, among others. On TV Globo, Massaro starred several soap operas and series, such as 'Deus Salve o Rei', 'Amorteamo', 'Filhos da Pátria', and 'Meu Pedacinho de Chão', by Luiz Fernando Carvalho. He was recently in 'Verdades Secretas 2', by Amora Mautner, Globoplay's biggest case of success (50 million watched hours in 3 months). As a director, he participated in the Competitive Selection of 23rd Rio de Janeiro Int'l Film Festival, with his third short film, 'Depois Quando'. 'A Cozinha', his debut feature film, will be released in 2022.
