Jeremy Wilson Jeremy Wilson Karsten, age 31, formerly of Maumee, Ohio, passed away unexpectedly Thursday, July 28, 2011 in Waldorf, MD. He was born November 8, 1979 in Toledo to Jerry and Karen (Randolph) Karsten. Jeremy graduated from Maumee High School in 1998 and received his Bachelor of Marketing and Bachelor of Food Business Management from The Ohio State University. He loved spending time with kids and was known as a very detail oriented and meticulous person. Jeremy will be remembered as affectionate, generous, loving and fearless to those who knew and loved him. An avid Detroit Tigers fan, Jeremy also enjoyed softball, golf, mud volleyball and helping coach his nephew's baseball teams. A self-educating man, Jeremy researched all facts and details about anything he needed to know. He loved to travel, play blackjack and NASCAR. Jeremy is survived by his loving parents, Jerry and Karen Karsten; brother, Jim (Marla) Karsten; sister, Jodi (Tom) Brill; brother, Jason (Cassie) Karsten; best friend and soul mate, Kayti McCarthy; nieces and nephews, Jenna, Jessica, Julia, Tommy, Katie, Michael and Jacob; and several loving aunts, uncles and cousins. He acted in plays and musicals at Maumee High School, and co-starred in the short movie "The Glass City," released in 2000 and the independent feature movie "The Darker Side of Romance," released in 2002.
