Joshua Tuggle known by most as "Tuggle" was born in Memphis, Tennessee and raised in Baton Rouge, Louisiana. It was during his years in high school that he began to pursue acting as a career. While attending Dawn Well's (Mary Ann on Gilligan's Island) Film Actor's Boot Camp, he wrote and performed a sketch comedy called www.mama-got-ass.com. It was well received and caught the attention of Francene Selkirk-Ackerman from Shooting from the Hip Casting Agency. After seeing him perform, Francene called Josh's mother to say "her son was very talented" and she believed "if he stayed focused and worked hard, he would find his place alongside Chris Tucker, Martin Lawrence and Will Smith." Josh decided to make the big move to Los Angeles to pursue his acting career. Since moving to Los Angeles, he has appeared on Comedy Central with D.L. Hughley, David Allen Grier's: Chocolate News, had opportunities for national television commercials such as Pizza Hut and appeared in the music video for U2 and Green Day's "The Saints Are Coming." He is an alumnus of Improv Olympics and has worked the stand-up circuit on numerous occasions. He has studied acting at L.A. based Playhouse West under Tony Savant and Sean Barnes. These days, in between acting jobs, Josh continues to hone his craft at Ron Burrus Studio and Fusion Films & Theatre Arts School. When Josh is not acting he spends a bulk of his time training in the Martial Arts of Bruce Lee's Jeet Kune Do, Filipino Kali/Eskrima, Indonesian Silat, and Muy Thai. He studies under Sifu: Cass Magda at the Magda Institute. Josh is represented by Kathleen Schultz and Associates and managed by Jeffrey Loseff Managment.
