Mario Mascarelli

A painter and an engraver. Born in Cetinje, Monetenegro in 1918. Graduated from the Academy of Arts in Belgrade in 1950. He was exhibiting from 1948, in former Yugoslavia and also in France, Italy, Germany, Netherlands, Bohemia, Hungary, Greece, Russia, India, Brazil, Venezuela and on Cyprus. Besides painting and engraving, he also practiced illustration, production design, interior design and organization of cultural and artistic events. There are his works in The Gallery of Fine Arts - Memorial Collection of Rajko Mamuzic - Novi Sad, Museum of Contemporary Art - Belgrade, Belgrade City Museum, National Museum - Belgrade, National Museum of Montenegro - Cetinje, and many other collections both at home and abroad. He lived and worked in Belgrade and Prcanj(Kotor).
