Joseph Chastain

Joseph Louis Chastain, or Joey as his friends know him, was born in Charleston, south Carolina. His father is Irish and Mother is of French and Hebrew heritage. His father was not in his life much until the age of three, due to being stationed overseas in the air force. At a very young age, he moved from South Carolina, to southern California where he still lives. There he attended Cajon High School, San Bernardino Valley College and Columbia College Hollywood. He has studied Theatre, Film and Singing. From a very young age, Chastain was interested in film. One of his fondest and earliest memories from childhood was going to movie theaters with his mother and father. His interest in films grew when he took a film production class in junior high. It was then that he decided to make films his career. While going to college, he worked at San Bernardino's PBS station KVCR. there he learned valuable insight in the world of film and TV. He has directed several short films.
