Russell was born as George Russell Reynolds in Miami, Florida but only six weeks later moved with his family to Dallas, Texas where he spent most of his childhood. When he was 16 years old his family moved to Israel where he finished high school and he then traveled around the world on his own as a young adult, living in England, Scotland, Canada, Bermuda and Thailand before moving back to Texas. As the godson of famed MGM musical actor, Howard Keel, Russell was first exposed to acting as a child and decided to follow Howard into the craft later in life. He found quick success in Texas, performing in theater, and independent film as well as on television in Prison Break and on Lifetime. Since moving to Los Angeles he has continued his career in film and television working with such actors as Armand Assante, Billy Zane, George Kennedy, Eric Braeden and Mike White as well as appearing on Chuck, CSI Miami, Days of Our Lives and HBO's Enlightened. Russell is a diverse and talented actor who is trained in comedy, drama and has an extensive martial arts and fitness background.
