Ajay Kothari

Dr. Ajay Kothari is a rocket scientist and also an artist. He has authored more than 45 technical papers on aerospace subjects, more than 15 articles in news outlets, and given TV and radio interviews. He was the first Indian-American to become a SAG member in 1993 in Washington/Baltimore branch of SAG. His art has been exhibited at (1) the Watergate Gallery, Washington DC, (2) Baltimore-Washington International Airport (3) Elan magazine of Northern Virginia, (4) on Saatchiart and (5) Jaamzin magazine. He is son of Prasannajit Kothari (father) and Pushpa Kothari (mother) and has 4 siblings. After finishing high school in India where he was a National Merit Scholar, he finished his MS and PhD at University of Maryland.
