Jeremy Allen White, born in Brooklyn, New York, was drawn to the world of the arts from an early age. After training in ballet, jazz and tap dancing, he made the crucial decision to change direction and pursue acting. He debuted with the coming-of-age film "Beautiful Ohio" (2006) and the courtroom drama "Conviction". But it was his award-winning role as "Lip" Gallagher on the hit series "Shameless" that propelled his career.
