James Rubino grew up in Wisconsin where he participated in various performance and sports activities like football, alpine skiing, and theater and student and local film productions. In his youth James performed internationally as a vocalist. After graduation from high school, James would train in the BFA acting program at The Theater School of DePaul University and later complete a B.Sc. Philosophy degree at the University of Wisconsin in Stevens Point. In 2007 James enlisted in the USAF as a medic and would complete international Air ECMO and intensive care unit (ICU) missions for the neonatal and pediatric air transport team out of Wilford Hall at Lackland Air Force Base. He was also trained for the war theater critical care air transport teams (CCAT) ICU flight teams though chose not to reenlist making him ineligible for active CCAT mission assignments. James now works as a software engineer and has specialized in data science and software testing.
