Jonathan D. Mabee

Jonathan D. Mabee is writer and filmmaker living Carbondale, Illinois. Jonathan served in the U.S. Navy from 1999-2003, and participated in the wars in Afghanistan and Iraq. After leaving the Navy, he pursued his goals of becoming a filmmaker and has worked on film and TV projects across the U.S. and Europe from 2005 to 2008. He earned his Bachelor of Arts from the University of Sunderland in 2007, and received his Master of Fine Arts from Southern Illinois University in 2015, focusing on filmmaking and media production. His latest work "Please Hold," deals with veterans and PTSD, which is one of his main narrative focuses.
