Ridd Sorensen

Over the past 20+ years, Ridd Sorensen has directed, art directed, storyboarded, designed, written and/or animated content for Chuck Jones/Warner Brothers, Cartoon Network, Apple, Disney, Nickelodeon, Sony, Teletoon, NETFLIX, PBS, YTV, Hasbro, Mattel, LEGO, musicians Kanye West and Weezer, as well as many commercials, music videos, and feature films. Notably, Ridd served as Director on the acclaimed Cartoon Network/Teletoon series 'Atomic Betty' at Atomic Cartoons Inc., for which he was nominated for the 2005 Gemini Award for 'Best Direction in a Children's or Youth program or Series'. For DHX Media/WildBrain Studios, Ridd served as Art Director for the first 4 seasons of Hasbro's wildly popular hit series 'My Little Pony: Friendship is Magic', the Disney XD series 'Packages from Planet X', season 3 of 'Transformers Rescue Bots', and DHX/Sony Pictures Animation's 'Cloudy with a Chance of Meatballs' TV series. Most recently for DHX/WildBrain, Ridd served as Director of the hit NETFLIX pre-school series Chip & Potato, and the much celebrated and Emmy Award nominated 'Snoopy in Space' shorts for Apple TV+. Currently Ridd is directing 'The Snoopy Show', also for Apple TV+.
