Catherine P. Saxton, Chairman of The Saxton Group Limited, is a public relations and special events executive with national and international experience and expertise. English by birth, education and training, Ms. Saxton's first special event was a Royal Film performance with H.M. Queen Elizabeth II. Through the years, Ms. Saxton has created and managed major worldwide publicity events and marketing projects, and strategized, intense publicity campaigns for companies and organizations worldwide. As an Executive Committee Member, Ms. Saxton created The Red White and Blue Gala for the Mayor's Commission for a Vietnam Veterans Memorial. This was the first major fundraising event for the nation's forgotten heroes. With the success of the Gala, the greater dream of organizing the largest Tickertape parade in history became a reality. Memorial dedication ceremonies, The Dear America Gala, and a prize-winning documentary and HBO film and book, marked the success of The Commission's work. Ms. Saxton continues to work for veterans with the USO of Metropolitan New York. Ms. Saxton has worked for some 25 years in major corporations and agencies. Among the projects she has been involved with is the establishment of The Charles A. Lindbergh Fund, marking the 50th Anniversary of his trans-Atlantic flight. Ms. Saxton worked with Anne Morrow Lindbergh and her family, the world's first moonwalker Neil Armstrong, World War II ace General Jimmy Doolittle, H.S.H. Princess Grace, as well as world leaders. And, in 1983, Ms. Saxton coordinated the efforts marking the 50th Anniversary of King Kong's attachment to The Empire State Building. During her work with the Waldorf Astoria and The Plaza Hotels, Ms. Saxton has worked with Kings, Presidents, Heads of State and Government, celebrities, socialites, captains of industry, their staffs and security details. Ms. Saxton worked with Donald and Ivana Trump during their marriage, and continues to handle Ivana's publicity today. A world traveler, Ms. Saxton has established international contacts. Listed among the Who's Who of American Women, Ms. Saxton has served on numerous boards and committees through the years. She now runs The Saxton Group Limited, an agency specializing in events, marketing, promotions and publicity.
