Kimberly M. Wetherell's award-winning short films "Menage a trois" and "Why We Wax" have screened in major film festivals around the world. including the International Documentary Film Festival of Amsterdam (IDFA), the International Film Festival of Rotterdam, the St. Louis International Film Festival and The Hamptons International Film Festival, and have secured distribution with Canal-Plus, Seventh Art Releasing and Current. Prior to filmmaking, she was an Opera stage director; her career having taken her to esteemed opera houses around the world, including L'Opera de Paris, Le Theatre de Geneve and the Lyric Opera of Chicago, working with such luminaries as Placido Domingo, Renee Fleming and Bryn Terfel. She was the Associate Producer for the independent film, "Today's Special", and she is in development on her forthcoming feature film, "Lullaby". Kimberly holds a BFA from The Theatre School at DePaul University and divides her time between St. Petersburg, FL and Brooklyn, NY.
