Marina Azze is an actress and also a makeup artist, cast producer and businesswoman. She was born on April 28, 1981 in the city of Varginha, Minas Gerais, Brazil. The actress graduated in Performing Arts from UniverCidade-RJ. She has in her curriculum more than 500 advertisement pieces and 30 theater plays (of which she won 6 awards for Best Actress in Theater Festivals). Her first work on TV was in the year 2000, when she participated as the "Garota do Zodíaco" of the "Planeta Xuxa" in Rede Globo. But only for 2 months, because Marina was run over by a car, having to stop the acting activities for her recovery for a year long. As an actress, she made small appearances in the cast of two Brazillian soap-operas: "Floribella" and "Malhação"; and in some TV shows like "Os Normais", "A Grande Família", "Planeta Xuxa", "A Turma do Didi", and "Da Cor do Pecado", all in Rede Globo. She commanded 12 Social Culture projects until she created her own space, where she professionalizes actors and models from Southern Minas Gerais and exports them to the great cultural centers of Brazil, for over 11 years. She was host of 6 independent programs on Varginha's television. In Cinema, her great passion, Marina debuted in the movie "O bebê de Regininha", a film made through a course at CAL, directed by Fábio Barreto. In 2016, the actress makes her first feature film as a protagonist: "Sobre Mariposas e Borboletas", a film by Lucas Marques, director that the actress eventually became a partner. Between 2017 and 2018, Marina participates in the short films "Imerso em Teu Regaço" by Lucas Marques, "Agora se Vira Meu Bem" by Elisa Aleva, "O Canto" by Elisa Aleva, "Microscópio" by Camila Brandão, and the feature film "Janelas" by Lucas Marques. Marina Azze is also a founding partner of the production company "Reticências Filmes" and produces the two largest independent film festivals in the state of Minas Gerais/Brazil: "Mostra Offcine" and "Inhapim Cine Festival".
