Lotay has served at a Vice President level or higher at several firms including Boston based Fidelity Investments and Chicago based Northern Trust Bank. Lotay founded Black Card Circle (BCC), the trusted network for influential individuals worldwide in 2005. Black Card Circle unites connectors, influencers, and activists (CIAs) for social networking, business networking, and philanthropy through exclusive events for its authenticated community of "Black Card" holders, respected professionals, upstanding community leaders, and inspiring entrepreneurs and activists. Lotay volunteers his time in the community as a Founding Board Director for the not-for-profit Black Card Circle Foundation, Inc. (BCCF), an IRS recognized 501(c)(3) public charity that raises awareness for other non-profit organizations.
