Pif*Star aka Epiphany knew from an early age that her passionate desire was to be a professional entertainer. Pif*Star's father became aware of her musical abilities and desire to perform when she was very young. He helped her develop her talents, particularly in music. A pianist himself, he always encouraged her to sing for friends and family while he played the piano. Pif*Star's father was also a teacher at Jamaica High School, whereby he showcased Pif*Star's singing abilities by performing with her in two of Jamaica High School's talent shows. At the age of ten Pif*Star began taking piano lessons with the children's choir director at the Church in the Gardens choir in Forest Hills, Queens, NY. Soon after Pif*Star joined the church choir she instantly became one of the lead vocalists performing in their concerts and musicals for the next 5 years. From the age of ten through seventeen Pif*Star was the lead actress and singer in every summer camp musical at the sleep away camp she attended in Holmes, NY. As a result of this early training Pif*Star was accepted into and graduated from the prestigious LaGuardia High School of the Performing Arts in New York City as a vocal major. Her father had also attended the very same High School of Music and Art as an instrumental major. In college, while attaining a BBA Degree concentrated in advertising and marketing, and having momentarily stepped away from music and acting, Pif*Star had an Epiphany! She realized now more then ever that her purpose in life was to go after her dream of being an entertainer, but even more importantly, utilizing her creative endeavors to contribute to society and help create positive change. Since then Pif*Star has been involved at a professional level in motion pictures, television programs, voice-over sessions, music recording sessions, live musical performances and modeling assignments. She is also the co-founder of a small California non-profit 501c3 organization which focuses primarily on assisting the homeless, underprivileged children and at-risk animals. Besides her involvement in philanthropy, Pif*Star is currently focused on her Hip Hop music career. She is featured on the song "Madness" -a classic New York old school hip-hop song. "Madness" is currently featured on Wu-Tang Clan's The Dark Chamber (Full Album) (2021) and is scheduled to be released on Dragon Klan Records later this year. Pif*Star's honest and inspiring storytelling style is truly a force to be reckoned with. She is a rare breed... a diamond in the rough, in a time when most female MC's are rapping about obscene sexual perversions, both disrespecting themselves and women in general. Pif*Star represents the complete opposite. She is the embodiment of female empowerment and self respect! She is a prophetic rap poet channeling divine truth. Her goal is to raise the vibration and consciousness of humanity. She is exactly what is needed in these troubling times. Stay tuned for more from Pif*Star!
