Danielle Graham

Born and raised in Guelph, Ontario, Danielle McGimsie graduated from Seneca College with a diploma in Radio and Television Broadcasting. In 2001, McGimsie got her start in broadcasting as an intern in the Citytv Toronto newsroom and was later hired on as a floor director for the weekend news. McGimsie hosted YTV's The Hit List for four years before becoming an entertainment reporter for Star! Daily in 2005. McGimsie has also reported daily entertainment news on A-Channel News at Six and A-Channel News at 11. As a reporter for etalk, McGimsie has interviewed a number of big-name celebrities including Ben Affleck, Beyoncé Knowles, Colin Farrell, Jennifer Aniston, Orlando Bloom, Jude Law, Kim Catrall, Anthony Hopkins, Tom Hanks, Katie Holmes, James Franco, Michael Cain, Robert Downy Jr., Sarah Ferguson, and the cast of the Twilight series. McGimsie also appears weekly on CP24 Breakfast to talk about the latest entertainment news. McGimsie has traveled around the world for etalk to report the latest entertainment news, from festivals to set visits on films. She has reported from The Toronto International Film Festival, Sundance Film Festival, The Teen Choice Awards, The Independent Spirit Awards, Elton John's post-Oscar Party, Emmy nomination day and Emmy after parties. McGimsie has interviewed, on location, the casts of the films Forgetting Sarah Marshall (Hawaii), Harry Potter (London, England), and Couples Retreat (Bora Bora). She also traveled to Rome for the Angels and Demons premiere.
