Melissa Bartlett

Melissa was born in Seattle, WA and showed talent in the creative arts beginning in grade school, with painting, music and theater. Her visual art was highly acclaimed as a teenager, by winning multiple regional awards. She was also very active in musical theater. Melissa graduated from the University of Washington in 2006 with a BFA in Painting and then moved to the Philadelphia Area. After graduating from the Pennsylvania Academy of Fine Arts with an MFA in Studio Art, she moved to NY and began working for a documentary film company. Here she started working in visual art/film hybrids as well as with various art departments for commercials and independent productions. In 2016, Melissa moved to LA where she still produces visual art, illustration, animation and works collaboratively on independent film productions that merge fine art with cinema.
