Daniel Williard was born in Baltimore, Maryland on July 8th 1949 to Anna and Lawrence Williard, youngest child of 2, one brother Larry Williard. He graduated from Kenwood High School 1968 in Baltimore Co. He joined the Army Reserves after graduation and attended and graduated from Audio Visual school in Ft. Lee, Virginia. Afterwards apprenticed at WBJC radio in Baltimore as a radio switchboard operator and DJ, reading news for associated press on the hour. Later worked for WMAR TV channel 2 in Balto, He has filmed commercials and Produced documentaries for Harfort County Maryland Tourism and Industry. He later was a cameraman including helicopter videography, Editing for convention news television and announcing. He also has directed a television show for local TV, directing 3 camera operation and occasionally doing interviews. In the 80s, he worked as a movie projectionist and was a member of I.A.T.S.E. He is a member of SAG (Screen Actors Guild) and has attended the SAG award show January 2008. He has appeared in several movies including, "Pucked" starring Bon Jovi, "JuneBug" with Amy Adams, "Home of the Giants" with Haley Joel Osmond & soon to be released "The 5th Quarter" with Andie McDowell and Aiden Quinn. Among other short films and commercials for NCSA Winston Salem including a play at the Theatre Alliance in Winston Salem.
