Justin Kelly is an Executive Producer, Showrunner, and director known for Lost Gold of WW2 (2020), Gold Rush (2011-18), Alaska's Grizzly Gauntlet (2017), Great Bear Stakeout (2013), Ewan MacGregor: Cold Chain Mission (2012), Bear Grylls' Man Vs Wild (2007), The Lock Up (2011), Wastemen (2015), Trawlermen (2009), Homestead Rescue (2016), The Hottest Place on Earth (2009), Around The World In 80 Days (2009), & Wife Swap (2004). Originally a Press & PR officer for the BBC's Documentary Department, he moved into production for the BBC in 1999, before going freelance in 2004 as a young director on Bear Grylls' hit TV debut, Escape To The Legion for Channel 4 & History USA. He's filmed documentaries, wildlife and factual entertainment shows around the world - China, Japan, the Philippines, Canada, Kenya, Alaska, Finland, France, Spain, South Korea and Russia, often in extreme environments (Sahara, Danakil Desert, Southern Sudan, the Congo, Alaska, Ethiopia, North Sea, Atlantic & Pacific Oceans). He moved to Los Angeles in 2017 where he executive produces and consults on shows for History, YouTube Originals, National Geographic, Nat Geo Wild, and Discovery.
