Masha Belash

Masha Belash was born in Ukraine When she was 5, she studied ballet, character and jazz. As well as learning piano, violin and singing. As a child, she participated in two TV talent shows, winning a part in a comedy program The Gentlemen Show. When she was 10, Masha's family moved to Australia where she took up ballroom dancing. In July 2001, she teamed up with Aric Yegudkin, and together they were the National Youth Latin American Champions in 2002, 2003 & 2004. In 2002 and 2003, they were Australia's number one representatives at the World Youth Latin American Championship. In 2003, they won both the Australian - and the South Pacific - Youth Under 19 Latin American Championships. Last year they were named the World Super Stars Adult Latin American champions. Masha is currently studying Bachelor of Commerce at the University of Sydney. Her dance partner, Aric, is also her boyfriend.
