D.J. Markuson

The Buffalo, NY, native attended the Ringling College of Art & Design in Sarasota, FL. Originally focused on traditional animation, Markuson then gravitated towards filmmaking. Starting in the art department for Troma Entertainment, he went on to production design a number of feature films and found his real passion in writing and producing movies, shows and children's books. He also held position for five years as Coordinator of Thesis Productions at the American Film Institute, giving hands on training to the future producers of the industry. Markuson has written, directed and produced multiple critically acclaimed projects and really, really loves dogs.
