After attending his studies in Information Technology and to further develop his interest in filmmaking, Mr. Recalcati attended the Film School at the Civic College of Cinema based in Milan. As a pioneer in the film industry, in 1996 he started working as Labor for Lina Wertmuller's movie The Blue Collar Worker and the Hairdresser in a Whirl of Sex and Politics. In 1997, continuing the development of his entrepreneurial spirit, Mr. Recalcati worked as Production Assistant at Area51, a Division of Central Milano Company, a prestigious production company dedicated to music videos, commercials and talent packaging, and including directors as Alessandra Pescetta, Claudio Sinatti and Riccardo Struchil. From 1999 to 2009, Mr. Recalcati worked as Location Manager and Production Manager for many top Italian productions. He developed strategic partnerships with some of the best known Italians producers, such as De Laurentiis and Vanzina. In 2009, he became partner of a production company (talents factory) of Ezio Greggio, where he served as Chairman. In 2011, he produced the first Italian 3D movie, Box Office that was screened in preview at the 69th Venice Film Festival. In 2012, Mr. Recalcati established himself as a Producer with his current company, Recalcati Multimedia where he serves as Chairman. Under the Recalcati Multimedia banner, Mr. Recalcati raised a development fund and completed the production of a documentary on Lina Wertmuller's life, 'Behind the White Glasses' with co-production partner Valerio Ruiz, director of the documentary movie. In 2015 'Behind the White Glasses' was selected in the competition category of the 72nd Venice Film Festival. During the Milan Expo he was involved as Executive Producer for ABC and White House for the making of an episode of the TV Show 'The Chew' with Michelle Obama in Milan. Most recently, Mr. Recalcati produced many commercials, and was the Italian production service for the South Korean TV drama, Saimdang the her story.
