Rhoda Ofori-Attah was born in Bekwai, Ghana and raised in the U.K. She spent her early years in Glasgow and Cambridge, with her parents finally settling in Yorkshire. She studied Pharmacy at Nottingham University before heading to drama school at The Oxford School of Drama. She is the sister of script writer, Grace Ofori-Attah and training film director, Sammy Ofori-Attah.
