Joseph Fraioli is a multi-talented audio post-production professional for film and television who creates unique and immersive sonic universes which pushes boundaries and surprises listeners. With an expertise in sound design, sound supervision, sound editing, field recording, and foley, Joseph has strengthened many projects through his sound work, focusing on the enrichment of storytelling. Most recently, Joseph served as sound effects editor on Tenet (dir. Christopher Nolan) and sound designer on Amazon's Prime's streaming series, Tales From The Loop (dir. Mark Romanek), as well as served as supervising sound editor and sound designer for the highly-anticipated, sci-fi action film, KIN (dir. Jonathan and Josh Baker). Entrusted by many high-profile brands, artists and institutions, Joseph's work has been featured in commercials for clients such as Google, Nike, IBM, PlayStation, Budweiser, Delta Airlines, Chobani and Squarespace. He has also created sonic installations for Kanye West's Cruel Summer, Lady Gaga for Polaroid, Chanel No.5's In A New Light, Glade's Museum of Feelings, Sonos' Sounds of NYC and world-renowned institutions such as The Museum of Modern Art, The Walker Art Center and The Smithsonian. He has received recognition for his work in advertising from the Cannes Lions, the Clio's, the One Show, AICP and D&AD. Joseph currently resides in Los Angeles, California, where he operates his sound design studio, Jafbox Sound.
