Norman Fletcher

Norm Fletcher created four items of a collection that are the manuscript words and music by Norm Fletcher to "The Cane River Country," his handwritten account of how he composed the tune, and the Resolution making his the official song of the City of Natchitoches (known as Chinquapin in Steel Magnolias). For many years he worked at KNOC-AM and KDBH-FM of Natchitoches and was known as "the voice of the (Northwestern State University) Demons.
