Jon Lewis has been teaching film studies at Oregon State University since 1983 and is very well liked among his students and peers. He has a PhD in film history and has written multiple books on the subject, including a well known textbook or two. He appeared in two documentaries "Inside Deep Throat" and "This Film is Not Yet Rated" and in the second one, discussed the book that the documentary was based on which he himself wrote.
